Event Rental

Overview

This request form is intended to provide the primary information to the College to identify event needs for potential usage of campus buildings and property. This request form must be submitted for review by college officials. A final commitment to use the requested space and securing your event date on the calendar is not made until college officials review and sign off on the event request. Additionally, if a Rental Agreement is required, it will be issued by the College's Business Services department and signed by the Renter and returned with the required deposit. All usage of the college & requested space governed by the approved request form or Rental Agreement.

***If requesting the SCF Neel PAC, Howard Studio, or Studio for Performing Arts, additional facility use form MUST be filled out and returned to Manager, Performing Art Venues.


Additional Information

External groups are required to provide a Certificate of Liability Insurance or purchase one through the College for their event. The Certificate Holder line should read State College of Florida, Manatee-Sarasota District Board of Trustees. The Liability Insurance Policy must list a minimum of $1,000,000 for “General Aggregate,” “Products (Comp/Op Agg)” and “Each Occurrence” and $500,000 for Damage to Rented Premises.

All facility requests who intend to serve alcohol MUST submit a Permission to Serve Alcoholic Beverages form and attach the form to this request. The form can be found on the right hand side of this page under 'Attachments'.

Fee waiver requests may be submitted for review by the VP, Finance and Administrative Services and the President’s Office. All Fee waiver requests MUST be submitted to Business Services FIRST.
